The Sounds Of The Wind

As I write it is a little windy outside. The sounds of the wind hitting the pine trees is one of the reason why I live up here. Impossible to describe. Almost feels like the seasons are about to change, but I know it is still a few weeks away. Not much happening these past few days. Just work and reading. These next few days to cleaning around.

Going through our new release movies at work I came across this classic. These movies just spark a special feeling inside. The Christmas movies are simply classics.

Finished reading Star Corpsman: Bloodworld and loved it. The insight to a Corpsman world was awesome as well as all the descriptive combat scenes. I decided to email the author and got a reply from him thanking me and telling me he has one more contract for a second book. He hopes this first one sells well. Left my normal Sci-fi/Fantasy books and started to read The Book Of Lies by Brad Meltzer. Thus far it is an awesome book. Will finish that shortly and will find myself looking for another book. Any recommendations?

A few more books have caught my interest. My list just keeps growing. I am interested in reading Anansi Boys by Neil Gaiman and George Washington Werewolf. I would also love to find the original Star Wars book that inspired the movie Star Wars: From The Adventures Of Luke Skywalker by Alan Dean Foster. Keeping in the book subject, I would love to find some decent used book stores. I have a friend telling me there are a few local. I must visit them.
