Round Up The Wagons!

A wagon? I would love one of these adorning my front yard and house. Call me weird but I love wagons and the way of life it represents. Christmas decorations are put away. I took them down much earlier than usual. No real reason why. I guess using these days with the warmer weather to clean up and get ready for the next storm. Up here I take these days with break in weather to clean up and get ready for the next one. I think we all do up here.

Want to go visit the Aquarium Of The Pacific with Natalia but I'm always broke. One day I will make it happen. I love that place as I used to visit it often years ago.

According to So Cal Weather Net (which I found is most accurate weather forecaster up here), we are expecting a change of weather this coming weekend. Precipitation expected but no word on possible temperatures this far out.

It is time for Lance to "round up his wagons" and do some serious damage control. He can no longer use his image, foundation and team of lawyers to hush people up. I will just say that I didn't see the whole Oprah interview of Lance but saw a few moments. I've lived the sport and like so many inside the sport we all knew. I was involved in the sport in its worse and even saw the problem at a lower level. Much blame has to also be placed at the organization and the teams themselves as many look the other way and/or encourage it. I have to thank Oprah for asking the questions and taking Lance off the script at times. She clearly made everyone see the sociopath that Lance is and his attitude even today about his actions. Lance clearly is not sorry to the point of laughing a little and didn't speak the whole truth. Mostly because of possible legal actions that can be taken against him. Many of his answers were untruthful as he at this point is in so much trouble legally. He knows the statute of limitations and has been careful to not implicate himself by still lying. So as far as he said he was a bad boy until 2005. Anything thereafter would put him in jail. I think the only way he learns is to when he starts to see his bank account getting drained, as right away he pointed out to loosing millions in  matter of seconds through sponsors dropping him. It hit him hard to loose Livestrong as that would be his only source of income. The problem is not about him actually doping, but about his actions used to cover it up and behavior used for so many years against so many people and companies to lie to them. Many riders cheated and continue to cheat but they do not act as Lance did. What also bother me is the foundation as he made millions from them. If he cared so much why not do it for free?He already has millions, why need more? Greed. The millions he made as well as the top positions there can really help so many families living with cancer. But instead they need nicer cars and houses. They need the money to make people aware of cancer. Aware? I think the whole world is aware. They need money to research they many types of cancers. Also he wants to compete again as he almost said for the money. As if a guy like him wouldn't cheat for money. He already has a record of doing so. Of course he would cheat again for money. Just start to save money, settle down and live life. Take care of your many children and your personal problems.

On the geek news front I want to point out that Lake Vostok in Antarctica is being sampled and I am looking forward to what may be found in its deep waters.

Do you know whose house is pictured? You get this right and you are on your way to getting me to like you.
