Well, I recently celebrated my birthday here as well as the day after. Why the day after? That was the day my life took another huge change. A day I always will remember. About 70 days left to go here before I make my way to Norfolk for processing back home. Things the same here and in a way wanting to go home but not to leave the simple life here, as you can see from my tiny garden and chair. This is what I've been calling home for over 6 months. The first wave from my group left a few weeks ago and I slowly get new people to train for replacements. I look forward to a few running events coming up and hope to be able to do them as I will be switching back to a night shift.
"To live is the rarest thing in the world. Most people exist, that is all."
- Oscar Wilde
Now I am running 10kms every day off and getting more comfortable with that distance. Reading is back to normal thus far and just finished an interesting book in The Day After Roswell. Also word is many of us may be moving location and not looking forward to that as I am already settled here and don't want to deal with a move for a few weeks and then another to temp area, but that is the way here.
Natalia is doing good and I get to Skype with her every two weeks. I cant wait to have her next to and to carry her and to have her home with me.
